Friends,
As fall rolls in, my children's author mind finds many ideas for books with Winnie as the protagonist. For example, on the first cold morning this week, I watched two tiny hummingbirds sitting quietly and shaking on the last of the feeders. They must have been born late in the summer; somehow they didn't know that all their friends had flown south already.
There was nothing that could be done for them as the feeders were hanging two stories above ground level. So I began to wonder how Winnie and Gram might manage the situation. I have a grandson who would definitely want to "save" them. What would Winnie want?
I have been thinking like this a lot these days. There is quite a long list of possible book titles developing for Winnie. And I have to ask myself, "When will I ever write them all?" But with Winnie Acts Up already out there and my TRULY SUPPORTIVE team writing some AMAZING reviews, I know I shall continue to think and plot about Winnie and Bella and Gram.
